Creating Transformational Change. One Day at a Time.
Having been approached by numerous people in the community, business partners Frengiz Surty and Mira Weinfeld recognized a strong demand to meet the needs of individuals and families struggling with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and executive function challenges. Together, they founded Made2Focus Performance. Combining expertise in ADHD with a diverse skill-set, the founders passionately set out to increase ADHD awareness and help individuals realize their potential. There is no one-size-fits-all approach—each person has unique ADHD challenges and strengths. Recognizing individual differences, Mses. Surty and Weinfeld partner with clients to embrace change, enhance self-awareness, explore possibilities, discover approaches that work, and achieve success.
OUR MISSION
Made2Focus Performance is dedicated to helping individuals and families take transformative steps to achieve personal change and improve their quality of life. Moving individuals and families forward in the present to create a desirable future is a core mission, and a crucial part of the company's ADHD service offerings.
The founders' vision includes matching you with a Made2Focus Point Person (MPP) dedicated to helping you navigate the often overwhelming and sometimes complex treatment arena (i.e., partnering with you to identify combinations of interventions and make choices). On another level, your MPP can help you integrate all the pieces, so that the aspects of life most in need of change (e.g., academics, workplace, home, finances, and relationships) are identified and optimized through coaching or other services.

ADHD Rx:
A Sense of Humor
The ADHD brain is wired differently. Not everyone understands why you do the things you do but having a sense of humor can lighten a situation. Co-founder Ms. Weinfeld remarked, "Humor ignites the ADHD brain. Having a sense of humor helps us get through the more challenging times, maintain a balanced perspective, and think more creatively."
Martin Seligman, the father of positive psychology, deemed humor a character strength (one of the 24 characteristics of well-being). The research of Rod Martin demonstrated that people who have a sense of humor are less adversely impacted by stress. Smiling and laughter affect your brain, activating the release of endorphins, which can make us feel happier, more relaxed, and less stressed.
